Island Boba & Tea was built on a simple, unexpected idea: pair fresh sushi and poke with boba tea under one roof. It's become a Coachella Valley staple, with two locations in Indio and Palm Desert.

Most boba shops stop at drinks — we didn't. Island Boba & Tea has served boba and sushi side by side from day one, a combo guests keep coming back for.
Family-owned, hands-on
Island Boba & Tea is family-owned, and at our Palm Desert location the owner works as the chef. That hands-on care shows up in every cup and every roll.
A menu with real range
Beyond boba, the menu stretches from sushi rolls and poke bowls — including vegan-friendly poke options — to mangoneadas, shakes, taro boba, and fresh juice. There's genuinely something for everyone at the table.
Recognized by the valley
In July 2024, The Desert Sun named Island Boba & Tea one of seven can't-miss boba shops in the Palm Springs area — a nod to what loyal guests have said all along.
